John Pozadzides is the Founder and Chairman of Texas Metal Works (TMW), the largest U.S.-based manufacturer of specialty fabrication tables. Headquartered in the Houston, Texas area, TMW is ISO 9001:2015 certified and supplies precision fabrication equipment to governments, all branches of the U.S. military, and corporations across the country from a 30,000 square foot advanced manufacturing facility equipped with fiber lasers, CNC press brakes, and collaborative robotic welding systems.
He is a formally trained artist, bladesmith, welder, and CNC operator, holding hands-on qualifications across the manufacturing processes TMW operates. The tables in this book are not a subject he studied from a distance: they are equipment his company engineers, builds, and warranties.
John has spent three decades explaining technical subjects to broad audiences. He founded the Web Design Group and HTMLHelp.com in 1996, one of the web’s earliest developer education resources, and is an inductee of the W3C CSS Hall of Fame. He co-founded Woopra, the world’s first real-time web analytics platform, leading it from inception to hundreds of thousands of customers and a successful exit. As CEO of Livid Lobster he built Geek Beat TV into one of the world’s most popular technology media brands, reaching more than 30 million U.S. households through YouTube, Discovery Communications distribution, and broadcast television. He has published One Man’s Blog since 2006.
